After purchase you will log in to your members area where you will begin the program.

After watching the quick program orientation, You will complete two design forms.

The first form will ask for specific photos of your yard and intended pool area.

The second form goes over the style options. 

With these two forms complete we will be able to create a beautiful 3D rendering of your pool, that will be to scale with precise and accurate measurements and adherence to local code ordinances. 

After submitting these two forms we will get to work on your design right away and have it back to you within 5 business days.

Once you receive your first design you will have the opportunity to use your 2 free revisions to hone in on the design and get it exactly the way you want. 

It is best to utilize a site survey or plot map as these have the most accurate measurements, and are what the building department will check your plans against.

A plot map or site survey is almost always provided with the paperwork your received when purchasing your home. If you do not have it, you can source it through your developer or your building department. 

In the event there is no site survey or plot map we use your address along with our GIS satellite software. Using our advanced GIS aerial imaging software we can get dimensions of your property that include elevation and topography. 

In the rare event that your home is not available through our GIS software and you can NOT obtain a plot map - Then we will have you measure your own yard using our step by step measurement guide video and pdf.

We have a specific video in the program that will walk you through the process of finding and hiring your subcontractor team.

We also provide you with construction checklists for your subs that list out all of their individual responsibilities as well as best building practices that you can utilize in the hiring process.

We are here for you as your personal consultant and we encourage our customers to share their bids with us so that we can review them and ensure that the pricing is accurate and nobody is taking advantage of you. 

We understand that this process can seem a bit daunting, but our customers can attest that if you follow our guidance you won’t have any trouble finding and hiring your DIY team. 

WHY WE DON’T PROVIDE SUBCONTRACTOR REFERRALS -  In addition to liability and licensing concerns it has also been our experience that referral lists don’t secure the best deal for our customers.  Subcontractors bid higher on referrals to cover their “kickback” expense. The subs you may find on a referral list can also be difficult to schedule as they are being used by multiple homeowners in the area. 

The Custom Design Package includes ONLY a design, engineering and construction plans. This is best for those with experience or those that are just in the dreaming phase. 

The Homeowner Builder Package includes the custom design options( design, engineering, and plans) and in addition offers:

• personal coaching/consulting throughout the project
• A very informative video program that walks you through construction step by step
• Construction checklists for each phase of the project
• Sub Contractor Scope of Work Checklists that keep your subs on point and your job running smooth
• Wholesale access to your pool equipment (wholesale equipment savings of at least $3,000!) 

Most of our customers who select the custom design option end up upgrading to the homeowner builder program. 

This will depend on your design and the cost of subs and materials in your local area.

After securing your design we can give you an estimated cost on your pool project. We can also design your project based on a preliminary budget. 

In pool saturated areas like CA, AZ, TX, NV & FL we are seeing an average saving of $15,000 - $20,000. Sometimes even more!

Once permits are in hand you can build your pool in as quick as 6 weeks. You can also space out your build over a longer period of time and pay for it incrementally. No matter the length of time for you project we will be here for you from beginning to end. 

Your design will take 5 business days to complete from the moment we receive your design forms back.

Once the design is approved by you we prepare your construction plans send it straight to engineering which typically takes 15 business days to complete. 

The permit process differs in length depending on where you live, please check with your local building department for permit wait times.
